Abstract

The polarization holographic gratings, which show high-temperature durability for a practical use, have been prepared in photocrosslinkable polymer liquid crystals. The resultant gratings can diffract the laser beam and convert the polarization state at the same time. These characteristics can be well-explained by means of the Jones analysis.
